The Good Luck Club Cabernet Sauvignon, 2017 was awarded an amazing 96 points at this year’s International Wine and Spirit Competition!

“This is an excellent wine, with a balance between very pronounced and powerful elements. It is made in a big and bold style, with concentrated fruit and a generous use of fine oak.”

 

 

 

 

Mundus Vini

 

 

Our Chateau Roziers Costières de Nîmes 2018 picked up a gold medal from Mundus Vini. The judges noted red berry and cherry notes, with complex spices, herbaceous and smokey characteristics, as well as the wine’s intensity and longevity.

Another outstanding result for the Wildeberg White 2018, which has won award after award since its release earlier this year.

“The nose offers up a mix of subtle citrus notes, a floral dimension and a liquorice, oaky touch. Structured, invigorating palate with savoury freshness, aromatic complexity and length.”

 

 

 

 

Wildeberg Terroirs Series Sauvignon Blanc 2018 was awarded 92 points. The judges said:

“Very expressive nose blending lime, a herbal dimension of boxwood and asparagus and a mineral touch. Ethereal, ample palate flowing into a sensation of freshness, citrus fruit and minerality with good length. Racy.”

 

 

 

 

 

Wildeberg Terroir Series Chenin Blanc 2018 received 90 points:

“Wonderful presence on the palate which is ample, generous, soft and displays nicely balanced fat and freshness. A good quality Chenin.”

 

 

 

 

 

The Underworld Grenache Blanc 2018 won a gold medal:

“Subdued, focused nose accented by white-fleshed fruits and a subtle floral note. Beautiful ample attack framed by fat and flowing into a fresh finish with a slightly tangy character.”

 

 

 

 

 

The Underworld Blend No.3 2018 was also awarded a gold medal:

“Nose of ripe red fruits with smoky tones. Lovely softness on the palate which is laden with fruit and shows pleasant balance with quite a gratifying aromatic finish. Fairly unusual and appealingly styled.”

 

 

 

GENETIE Mâcon-Charnay-lès-Mâcon ‘Les Piliers’ 2018 also received a gold medal:

 

“Beautiful clear, golden yellow. Fairly delicate nose accented by hazelnut and fresh butter. Accessible, gratifying and very user-friendly.”

 

 

 

 

Rive Barbera d’Asti 2016 gained an impressive 90 points:

“Precise, profound nose marrying fruit, mineral and liquorice notes. The palate is fleshy, dense and also very expressive with mineral, oaky and fruit overtones. Great elegance.”

 

 

 

 

 

D‘Annona Barbera d’Asti D.O.C.G. 2015 was also awarded 90 points:

“The nose offers up a mix of red fruits and an oak dimension with milky vanilla characters. Ample, warm palate where power wraps around a fine mouthfeel. Generous and lush.”
