The English wine industry may be young, but it is booming. That’s not the only reason we chose to invest in a vineyard and winery on our own doorstep: as a UK-based company it also just made sense.
We worked closely with Larry Warr, the former Formula 1 engineer who founded Henners in 2007, so when he put the winery up for sale in early 2017 it made even more sense to invest in a site we already knew well and knew produced incredible wines.
We have been working hard to make the place our own, while ensuring the quality of wines is maintained, if not bettered. It is important to us to preserve the hand-crafted, low intervention approach of this small winery as we expand.
And expand we will! We have already added our Prestige Cuvée “Native Grace” to the range, and over the next two years we have plans to extend the vineyards and winery, adding a tasting room for guests to enjoy the spectacular views over the English countryside as they taste a range of wines, which we’re proud to call our own.
