An organic blend of old vine Monastrell and Syrah. Grapes are sourced from 30 year old vines at high altitudes of 750-metres, planted on limestone soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, the wine is then aged in barrel to add toasty oak notes and to add fruther complexity to the wine.
Concentrated and rich packed with notes of blackberry,, black plums and subtle smoky notes. The addition of Syrah brings some black pepper spice and anise.
The rich smoky notes in the wine makes this excellent with depply flavoured game dishes, beef goulash or spiced lentil stew.
