Production
From Barbera and some Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Monferrato hills in Piemonte. Short pre-fermentation maceration on skins at a low temperature followed by gentle pressing. Fermented in stainless steel at low temperatures with cultured yeasts.
Tasting notes
Bright aromas of fresh strawberry and redcurrants. The palate has ripe berry and cherry characters balanced by juicy acidity to give a fresh and appealing finish.
Food match
Serve chilled with roasted Mediterranean vegetables, white meats and tomato based pasta dishes.
