Production
The grapes are selected from Chardonnay vineyards in central California. Grapes are harvested in the early hours of the morning and are cooled prior to crush. The must is then transferred to temperature controlled stainless steel tanks for fermentation and raised on fine lees with a light dose of American oak to add some extra texture.
Tasting notes
Bright and aromatic Chardonnay with notes of ripe, bright fruit. The palate is lovely example of sun-gorged chardonnay with notes of peach and pineapple combined with a hint of lemon zest. Good texture on the palate with some classic cues of brioche and lemon meringue pie – a truly fruit driven style of Californian Chardonnay.
Food match
