Production

Made from parcels of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan grown around the town of Nîmes on red pebble and limestone terroir. Fermentation is kept short to preserve the generous fruit flavours. All the varieties are vinified separately to give Guillaume full flexibility when it comes to blending. The tannins from these sun-ripened grapes soften quickly, so very little ageing is required to keep it supple and more-ish.

Tasting notes

Aromas of red berries leads to a juicy palate with savoury notes. The soft tannins give the wine a round, velvety mouthfeel making it very easy-drinking.

Food match

Try with a slightly spicy beef cassoulet, some mature hard cheeses, or a mushroom risotto.
