Production
Predominantly Grenache Blanc with Marsanne, Roussanne and Viognier. The grapes grow in the Languedoc, where proximity to the sea, and varied altitudes offset the hot, sunny days, to give grapes juicy fruit flavours and natural complexity. Immediately after picking at optimum maturity the grapes are pressed and undergo cold fermentation. Malolactic fermentation is blocked in order to preserve the acidity in the wine.
Tasting notes
This textural dry white is bright and beautifully balanced. With fresh fruity flavours and aromas shining through, this is an easy-drinking wine that can be enjoyed all year round.
Food match
Serve chilled with white meats, fish or simply lap it up on its lonesome. Some particularly good matches include baked chicken and apricots, coronation chicken and skate with caper and butter sauce.
