Production

Recently awarded its prestigious 'Cru' status in recognition of the quality produced in its vineyards, the village of Cairanne lies at the western tip of the arc of Rhône villages. Here Grenache Noir, Syrah, Carignan Noir and Mourvedre vinified with a touch of oak, produce a wine of real personality: rich, fruity and immediately appealing, the palate is smooth and full-bodied with luscious texture.

Tasting notes

The primary sensations are a fruit-driven bouquet of cherries and plum followed by flavours of ripe blackberry and blueberries overlaid with spices like cinamonn, pepper and a hint of vanilla. In its finish, you will cover a good and rich texture with integrated soft tannins which gives the wine its structure and a good length.

Food match

Enjoy it with roast meats, casseroles and good cheeses.
