Production

We headed to the sunny vineyards of southern France to find the right blend of ripe, concentrated fruit for this wine. Grapes are harvested when fully ripe, de-stemmed and pressed. Fermentation takes place in tank, preserving the freshness of the fruit. A percentage of the wine saw some oak to add texture and coffee aromas, while a touch of Carignan adds dark complexity and a spicy "oompf"!

Tasting notes

Lots of juicy, sweet black fruit with notes of mocha, coconut and vanilla. A touch of spice and a lovely, smooth creaminess on the finish.

Food match

Definitely made to enjoy with steak, but the fruity Grenache also makes this the perfect partner to spicy dishes; anything from Jerk chicken to Indian and Thai curries.
