We wanted to bring you an exciting pair of fresh and vibrant wines in our portfolio, so we set our winemakers Guillaume Letang (Languedoc) and Julien Dugas (Rhone) a challenge: find a white and a rose that would complement each other if on the same table, and which would pair with a variety of food whilst tasting amazing. Most importantly we wanted to depict interesting terroirs and climates. For the white, Guillaume created a fascinating blend of Rolle, Terret and Viognier from IGP Cotes de Thau, a region which benefits from a fantastic range of natural features: Mediterranean Sea, Bassin de Thau and the Mistral wind. This is our first time assembling a blend with Terret Blanc, as we wanted a true local example of what can be found in the Languedoc. The variety provides a crisp and light backbone to the wine.
A lifted, very refreshing and light wine with a hint of apricot and flower blossoms from the Viognier.
Pair with fresh seafood and light salads, preferably enjoyed sitting under an umbrella in the sun, overlooking the Mediterranean.
