Production
These grapes were selected from vineyards in sun-kissed Southern France which grow on sandy, silty soil. This encourages the vine’s roots to dig deeper into the soil to find the water they need to keep the vines and grapes growing during long, hot summer days. The grapes are harvested once the flavour profile and acidity levels are perfect. They are fermented at a low temperature to retain the freshness and fruity aromas typical of Gewurztraminer.
Tasting notes
Bright and bold flavours of lychee, rose petals, soft ginger spice, and apricots all swirl together effortlessly.
Food match
Good with chicken slald Thai style, and can stand up to a healthy dollop of chilli paste. Alternatively, try with duck dishes, including duck pate if you're just in the mood for a snack. Peppers stuffed with jasmine rice or tabouleh is a great match too.
